Granite is a customer favorite, mostly for its timeless feel and instant value it adds to your home. It’s considered to be one of the strongest stones on earth which makes it a great choice for any project.

Granite does not scratch, burn or break (easily). It will dull your knives before you do damage to it by cutting directly onto it. Granite is less porous than other stones, and it’s naturally slow absorbent rate provides resistance to bacteria and stains.

To keep granite in its best shape possible, we recommend sealing the stone annually, but don’t worry, we do the first one for you. During the installation process, one of our installers will seal the stone before they leave. Because not all granite is the same, this step is necessary to truly help protect the stone.
